Gold Plated Jewellery

Gold plated jewellery may corrode over time if exposed to chemicals, moisture, perfume and soil. To retain the lustre of gold-plated jewellery it is recommended to be cleaned if necessary with warm, soapy water and wiped with a soft cloth until dry.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver naturally oxides over time and loses its lustre, however all Joel Wade sterling silver Products are plated with rhodium which is a rare, precious metal not normally prone to oxidation, and will retain a strong reflectivity over time. To remove finger prints, wipe with a soft cloth.

Stone-Set Jewellery

Precious and semi-precious stones are relatively sensitive to hard knocks and scratches, therefore it is recommended that great care is taken when wearing and storing this type of jewellery. To clean stone-set jewellery, brush stones with a wet toothbrush and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
